Design like a Human in the Age of Algorithms

Algorithms are shaping our experience every day. Our Facebook feeds, our Spotify playlists, our Amazon recommendations are creating a personalized window into a world driven by algorithms.

As design becomes less about a screen and more about augmenting humans with extended capabilities, new ideas, even potentially more emotional awareness, we will need algorithms. But humans are complicated. Humans change all the time. Algorithms have a hard time with that. Design thinking can bridge the gap between machine learning and human intelligence.
