Small business banking prospects have more money than your average consumer, sometimes significantly more. They also have more complicated needs. Yet, most bank sites treat small business prospects as the poor relation of consumer banking customers. This study benchmarks how 12 regional, national and online-only banks show what they can do for small business prospects through their public web sites. We look at best and worst practices for bank home and product pages, the use of video, community building, customer support, and the role of product innovation.
